Music Club Coffeehouse April 25, 2014

On Friday April 25, 2014, Biotech students and parents came together to watch performances by the brave students who dared to showcase their talents. The annual Music Club Coffeehouse took place!

There was a variety of great performances by a plethora of students. Senior boys Mike Lichardi, Cory Skloff, Saketh Aletti, and Diego Delgado performed “Losing my Religion” by R.E.M. Other performances included Justin Hall playing the piano for “Back to Life” by Giovanni Allevi, Luke Snyder playing drums to “Contact” by Daft Punk, Lauren Chung and Justin Hall’s version of “Take Me Home” by Cash Cash, and Elizabeth Dreifus’ original song  “From Now On”.

One of the coolest performances of the night was BTHS’ first ever Jazz Band that performed  3 songs. They came together as a new group, formed in Music Club to perform at the coffeehouse for the first time ever. Beats for a Cause also graced us with their rendition of “Pompeii” by Bastille, featuring Emily Triolo, Emma Mueller, and Elizabeth Dreifus.

The coffeehouse was a really great display of BTHS students’ musical talents. From Katy Perry to John Legend, all different artists were represented, and all performances were received well by the audience.
