Information Session #2

Saturday, October 15th is our second Biotechnology Information Session.  As you remember, the information session is the first chance for prospective students and their families to meet and see Biotechnology High School. Since this is our first Saturday session, we expect it to be packed! At the information sessions the PSFA provides snacks and drinks  Attached is a google document asking for donations for what we need.  Please drop this off Thursday or Friday of this week labeled PSFA Info Session. If you would like to volunteer, please join me (Send me an email).  You would need to arrive at 9:15am.  We set up the snacks and clean up once the families start their tours.

FFA is Selling MUMS!

BTHS FFA is having a fundraiser! We have partnered with a Monmouth County farmer to offer beautiful mums for your holiday decorating needs. These locally grown mums are nicer than anything you will find at a big box store! Please help support our FFA chapter!

 $8 each, or 3 for $20 Pre‐Order          $9 each Day‐Of*

Pickup: At Back to School Night (Tuesday, September 20)

Please return form with payment to Mr. Evancho in Room 222 or to his mailbox in the office.

 Checks should be made out to BTHS Student Activities Fund.

Freshman Social

We would like to invite all of our incoming freshmen and their parents to join us for the annual Freshman Social on Friday, September 16th. It will be held at the school from 2:30-5pm.  Students will meet in the MPR after school at 2:30 for pizza and games. Parents will meet in the media center from 4-5 p.m. for a presentation and Q & A with Mr. Meehan and the PSFA Board. Light refreshments will be served. Spirit Wear will also be available for purchase during this time!

This is a great chance for freshmen and their parents to socialize, meet, get to know each other and become comfortable with the school. Please look at this Google Doc to RSVP. If you have any questions contact Stacy Howard stacybhoward@gmail.com or MaryLynn Teeling marylynn.teeling@gmail.com.

In the meantime, there are a couple more important dates to note: Back-to-School-Night 9/20 at 6:30 p.m. and the first PSFA meeting for this school year on 9/26 at 7 pm.  The BTHS calendar on the front page of our website is a great place to check for upcoming events.

Congratulations to the Class of 2016!

Congratulations to all the senior students and their parents, and thanks to all of you, the Graduation Reception was a great success!
