Spanish NHS Hosts Health Fair in Freehold

This past Saturday, members of the BTHS Spanish Honor Society hosted a Health Fair for residents of Freehold Borough. The fair offered medical screenings, health presentations, healthy snacks, activities for children, and clothing. It was an excellent example of community outreach, and everyone who came was very impressed with our students and the effort they put into the event.

Special thanks to:

  • The nurses and health experts who generously donated their time to provide the screenings.
  • BTHS families who donated clothing last spring. Anything that was not taken at the fair was placed in local collection bins.
  • Cristina Guevara's parents, Marcos and Patricia, who put an incredible amount of time and energy into all aspects of the event. Their generosity and dedication to helping the community are an inspiration to us all.
  • Freehold Intermediate School for providing us with a fabulous venue.
  • The Spanish Honor Society officers, who attended to every last detail: Erika Schneider-Smith, JJ Larkins, Laya Manoj, and Cristina Guevara.
  • All students who participated and helped make the fair a success: Erika Schneider-Smith, JJ Larkins, Laya Manoj, Cristina Guevara, Kayla Ciok, Jenna Horowitz, Janine Hibionada, Hannah Pettit, Alex Yang, Joanna Barton, Priyanshi Jain, Meghana Singh, Jane Warshaw, Marisa Wu, Victoria Momyer, Dillon Mercado, Peter Davis, Zaki Mirza, Alexandra Bellisario, Lauren Chung, Meher Pandher, Janelle Hampton, Rachel Swope, Katelyn Fleisch, Elizabeth Dreifus, Daniella Tang, and Stephanie Smieszek.
