Thank You and a Happy New Year
Thank you does not begin to express my gratitude for the fabulous send off you gave me. From the 12 Days of Eno during which Santa's deliveries included 7 sophomores singing and eight teachers teaching. The eight teachers were pictures of the original eight faculty members of Biotechnology High School: Jim Alvarez & Kristen Faust (moved on) and still with the school, William Hercek, Danielle Jensen, Michelle Lampinen, Tom Ross, Lauren Ruthrauff, and Teresa Siter. They deserve tremendous credit for laying the foundation for so many of the traditions that exist today.
I have a box of cards to look through, a calendar of student wisdom to see me through 2015, a picture book entitled, "A Decade of Excellence", peanut M&M's and Starbucks cards that should carry me through the winter, a beautiful silver pendant, and a myriad of gifts reflecting the generosity of alumni, faculty and families. Did I mention how surprised and touched I was to see so many alumni back? Their success is the true measure of what we built in 10 short years.
Please forgive me for the inevitable misses in my acknowledgements. They are not for lack of appreciation. I wish each of you and your families a Happy New Year and a wonderful start to 2015.
