NJ Scholars Program 

Opportunity for Juniors

The New Jersey Scholars Program 2016
"The Great War Era: Cultural Splendor or the Collapse of Civilization"
June 26 - July 28 at Lawrenceville School

The New Jersey Scholars Program provides a dynamic learning environment at the Lawrenceville School where 39 able and motivated high school students experience the life of the mind as they have never done before. Scholars plunge into an inter-disciplinary college-level five-week summer program, expanding their intellectual abilities by approaching the summer's topic from many different directions. The Scholars learn and live together, stimulating and supporting each other as they wrestle with the challenges posed by this new approach to learning.

How to Apply:  

We are able to select two outstanding BTHS juniors to apply for the 2016 New Jersey Scholars Program. If you would like to be considered for this opportunity, please submit the following:

(1) A brief essay (maximium of 1 page) explaining your interest in attending this program.

(2) A 1 to 2 page resume containig the following:

  • Extracurricular activities (both in school and out of school)
  • Community service
  • Leadership experiences 
  • Awards and achievements
  • Skills and talents
