Biotechnology High School (BTHS) is the newest member of the Career Academy division of the Monmouth County Vocational School District.  BTHS opened in the fall of 2005 and is located at 5000 Kozloski Road in Freehold. This brand new facility includes two large research rooms and  four state of the art science labs.  The program provides a rigorous, college preparatory curriculum with a thematic focus on the life sciences. Emphasis is placed on research, laboratory skills, critical thinking, problem solving, technology, and teamwork.  Areas of thematic concentration include bio-medical, agricultural-science, genetics and the environment. The school serves the community by providing an exemplary learning experience for students in these and related fields. Through well-crafted articulation with higher education and industry, this school is helping to fill the pipeline to New Jersey’s booming Bio/Pharmaceutical sector. In addition, BTHS is the first high school in New Jersey to deliver the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program to one hundred percent of its junior and senior students.
